Frequently Asked Questions

I do!  For the life of the print!  I'll happily replace your prints at no cost if any of the following occurs:

  • Any kind of damage that occurred during shipping (dropped & bent, scratched, etc)
  • Print lab errors (blurriness, skin tones shifted off-color, etc)
  • Mount block separates from the back of the print
  • Damage to the print if it falls off the wall due to separation of the mount block
  • Scratches (as metal prints are scratch-resistant)

For accidental damages, you can have the print replaced at-cost of what my print lab is charging at the time.  Examples of accidental damages include:

  • Damage from falling off the wall due to poor mounting (ie. nails give way in sheetrock)
  • Faded prints due to be mounted in direct sunlight

Caring for your metal prints is pretty easy!  They are an extremely durable print being waterproof and scratch-resistant!   As mentioned above, be sure you don't mount metal prints in an area that is subject to direct sunlight more than not as the UV will cause it to fade over time.   To clean the print to remove smudges and fingerprints, you can use glass cleaner and a terry cloth towel (no papertowels!)

The group composite dept photo is only available as a metal print.  However, if you opt for the department headshot print, I offer a deluxe paper print that has a lustre finish to it for about $200 less than the metal print (you'll need to specifically request a deluxe print as I default to metal prints).  It would be shipped from my print lab rolled up in a tube so you would need to take it to a local framer for framing (shipping a framed 30x45 print would be extremely cost-prohibitive for the department).  Please be sure to account for the cost of that size frame when budgeting for department photos as I could imaging it costing $200+

Most definitely!  If you feel that the department would benefit from one for any reason (numerous personel away on vacation/sick/etc, turnout wasn't as great as expected, etc), we can discuss scheduling a singe-day make-up session at another time

Scheduling 2-3 departments at the same time is no problem at all!  The way I work that is we'll decide which station would be best for me to set up at, and the members from each department will come to that station for their photo.  I also provide a multi-department discount when multiple departments share a weekend, so you'll get a discount on your department photos, and my travel & session fees get split equally between the departments!

I'm more than happy to travel anywhere as long as your department covers my travel expenses!
